To Dad On Father's Day! (PART ONE)

Haven't posted holiday greeting cards around here in a while, so here's a small sampling of Father's Day coolness from my private collection, dating from the 40's through the 70's. Note the great variety of artistic style and the occasional use of texture that really brings these greetings to life! I hope all you dads out there had a good day (I ate waaaay too much KFC, as usual!) --and there's plenty more Father's Day card fun in the next post too! Now where's my cake??!!

they are all really cute! and sweet! it's really nice to see a bunch of cards like that. sometimes i get tired of the snarky stuff - but i think i'm prob in the minority.

i really like them all but i think i like the first and last ones the best. there's something about that cute guy in his olde timey car that i really dig.

The outside of number two is just beautiful. I also like the cute hillbilly kids making the corn squeezins.
